Dear Penguin Family,

Thanks to everyone for pitching in at Time Trials on Saturday. This week we have only a few days to get ready for Almaden on Saturday!

TIME TRIALS MAKE-UP DAY: MONDAY, JUNE 3rd

Swimmers who did not attend Time Trials on Saturday or missed any of their events MUST come to Make-Up Day on Monday, June 3 at 6:00 pm. Parents are expected to stay and volunteer as timers and recorders. Please arrive on time! Please note there will be no regular night practices on Monday. If you swam all your events at Time Trials, you get the night off!

PICTURE DAY:  TUESDAY, JUNE 4th

• Individual photos for Association members will start at 4:00 pm.
• ALL swimmers should be at the pool by 5:15 pm for the team photo.
• Any remaining individual photos can be taken after the team photo.
• All swimmers should wear either an LPAC team suit or a plain black swim suit.
• We will still have practices as usual for all age groups:
  • 10 & under: 6:00 – 7:00 pm
  • 11-13: 7:00 – 8:00 pm
  • 14-18: 8:00 – 9:00 pm
• Please check your family file for the photo order envelope and bring that to the photographer.
• Your team dues include one individual photo, one team photo, and a photo button. If you’d like to order additional copies and/or buddy photos, please bring your checkbook to make the additional payment.

WILL YOU BE AT THE MEET ON JUNE 8th?

Our first dual meet of the season is at home this Saturday (6/8) against the Almaden Gators. If your child will have to miss all or part of the meet, please send email to coaches@swimlpac.org and volunteers@swimlpac.org by today at the latest. The volunteer coordinators need to know if parents will be gone as well so they can fill in with other penguin volunteers. So far we know that we will be missing; Dylan Doucette, Ona Musoli-Buendia, Ethan Hadfield, Alexis Galindo, AJ Ponder, Emily Tang, Jake, Chase, and Taylor DeSantis.

Time Trials are Tomorrow, Saturday June 1st, located at LPAC Pool

• Gate open at 6:45 AM for families to set up their easy-ups etc,..
• Swimmers must check in with coaches by 7:15 AM
• Parents must check in with Volunteer Coordinator
• NEW PARENTS meet coach Scott after warmups at end of pool

What is Happening Next:

• TEAM PICTURE DAY TUESDAY JUNE 4TH. PRACTICE TO FOLLOW
  • Paperwork can be found in your family folder at the end of Time Trials. Be sure to leave in your box or bring it back on Tuesday for picture day as it will be needed. Should you decide to take extra photos with buddy or friend, be sure to bring cash or check to cover the cost.
  • Wear Team Suit or solid black suit
  • Association members photos begin at 4:00 PM
  • All swimmers should arrive at pool by 5:15 PM to take team picture
• RAFTING TRIP ~ MOTEL-6 RESERVATIONS ARE DUE
  (take advantage of block reservations, rooms released June 14)
