LPAC swimmers, here’s your chance to help raise funds for the team while challenging yourself and getting a great workout. Collect pledges and then swim as many laps as you can to support LPAC and win prizes too! In 2026 we had 105 out of 150 Swimmers participate amongst all of the practice age groups. These 105 swimmers swan a total of 9,250 laps. Now that is what we call Penguin Power! We are Penguin Strong! The 2026 Splash & Dash helped raise money to cover all or most of these things:

  • A new Starter Battery
  • A new Pace Clock for Practices
  • Supplement the new Time Drop Annual subscription
  • A new deep freezer for the kitchen
  • A new sound system for meets and events
  • And New walkie- talkies for coaches.

With your help we were able to pay for most of these  important expenditures that were not budgeted for by our board. .Thank you for your generosity and support that you have shown by participating in this years Splash & Dash!

How it Works

  1. Download and print                                 2027 Splash & Dash Pledge Sheet
  2. Collect pledges from your family, friends, and neighbors. They can pledge a flat dollar amount or an amount per lap.
  3. Come to practice and swim, swim, swim…as many laps as you can, of any stroke!
  4. The lap counter will give you a piece of paper with the total number of laps you swam.
  5. Collect pledges and turn in proceeds to the Splash & Dash folder in the back of the Ribbons box by Wednesday, TBD to be eligible for prizes.

 

Prizes

  • The grand prize will be awarded to the top pledge earner for the whole team.
  • Prizes will be awarded to the swimmers that swim the most laps in each age group.
  • There will be prizes for each swimmer that swims over 120 laps.
  • A raffle will be held for all swimmers who attain the goal set by the coaches.
  • You can earn extra tickets for any laps you swim beyond the target!
  • Prizes will ONLY be awarded to swimmers who raise funds for the Splash & Dash.
  • Splash & Dash prizes will be presented at Spirit Night.
