Los Paseos Aquatic Club (LPAC) is a 503(c)7 non-profit swim team that has served the Los Paseos community since 1970. We welcome the financial support of individuals and businesses to help keep costs low for our families and continue fostering values of team spirit and community service. 

Just like the penguin lapel pins that our swimmers earn by improving their times, we are offering three different levels of sponsorship: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. See right column for benefits of each level.

About LPAC

LPAC a family-oriented summer swim team that provides children (ages 5 to 18) in the Los Paseos neighborhood the opportunity to participate in competitive swimming in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. But we are more than just a fun swim team. We also build community through proven programs such as:

• Volunteering: Volunteering is essential to the success of the team. All parents volunteer to keep the meets going. Children grow up watching their parents volunteer, and as swimmers get older, they also volunteer to help younger swimmers in the pool.
• Swim Buddy Families: Our high school age swimmers also serve as “big buddies” to the younger Penguins, helping them get to their races on time, cheer for their teammates, and have fun. It’s truly heartwarming to see the warm and supportive relationships that result from having teenagers working with kindergartners.
• Community Service: We also occasionally do service projects in the community, such as holding a “25s to Save Lives” relay event to raise money for cancer research and cleaning up local parks with Our City Forest.
• Fun Activities: LPAC packs a lot of fun activities into our 12-week swim season, including Penguin Madness, the Overnighter, a Raft Trip, Beach Trip, and the classic Spirit Night to get everyone revved up for the end-of-season League Championship meet.
• Good Sportsmanship: Our coaches instill good sportsmanship in all swimmers, encouraging them to cheer for all their teammates, be respectful of their competitors, and always strive to do their best.
• Every Swimmer Counts: One unique aspect of the cabana summer swim league is that personal improvement counts toward the overall team score. Not everyone can be the fastest swimmer, but everyone can help the team win!

We invite you as an individual, company owner, or company officer to support the LPAC Penguins financially, as this allows us to better serve our local families at a reasonable cost and influence our youth towards a future of service and community building.
