Penguins can swim! Imagine 5,539 laps or 138,475 yards swam in a collective hour by 81 LPAC penguins during our Swim-A-Thon.  This week our swim focus will be BackStroke and BreastStroke.

 Monday is Family Yoga in the Park!

July 5th starting at 10:00 AM

Come join our coaches as they lead us through a fun family yoga session located in Los Paseos park near the Los Paseos Elementary multipurpose building.

• We are looking for Parent Volunteers
• Penguins and Parent Volunteers Register Here
• Activities include: Dodgeball, An Obstacle Course Bounce House and Pool Games to name a few.
• A Nacho Bar will keep the Penguins full (I think that is better than fish too )

High School Beach Trip is July 10th!

• RSVP & Parent Volunteer drivers: Beach Trip Registration
• Time: Meet at Los Paseos Pool at 4:30 pm
• Parent Volunteers are needed to drive. Swimmers are not allowed to drive themselves to this event.

Swim-A-Thon Pledges are Due, Monday July 12th!

Your pledges are due July 12 to qualify for the various prize drawings. No amount is too small.

Turn in your proceeds to the SWIM-A-THON folder no later than Monday, July 12th to be eligible for prizes!

On July 10th at the second Virtual meet, Ed Primeau, one of our team photographer will be snapping Penguin family photos with fun Penguin Photo Props! Build your community book page and even use the family photo. So what makes you a Penguin Family? What is your favorite fish meal? I can’t wait to read the book!

• Gate opens at 6:45 AM for families to set up their easy-ups
• Swimmers check in with coaches between
  7:00 – 7:15 AM
