LPAC Registration ~ What you need to know now.
Welcome to the LPAC
Penguin 2022 Season
We are here to provide you a heads up about what to expect with registration for the coming season
Things to know:
- Registration begins March 1, look for the email or on the LPAC website here Registration 2022 Form. All completed packets must be submitted as a hard copy to the LPAC office at the pool. We just do not have the time to print email submitted registrations.
- Something to remember: Just like last year, we will not be holding night practice sessions for those who can not attend the morning practice once the school year ends beginning Monday, June 6th.
- Something New! We are now accepting registration payments via Zelle, just look us up under the email treasurer@swimlpac.org using your Zelle App or bank. Be sure to include the family name and swimmers in the memo section.
Want to plan a vacation ~ here are general dates for the season
Tryouts and Practices:
- Tryouts for all new swimmers, begins April 25th in the afternoon.
- Practice for Everyone, begins May 2nd in the afternoon and early evenings
Swim Meets:
- Time Trials, May 28th (Home)
- Meet #1 June 4th (home)
- Meet #2 June 11th (home)
- Meet #3 June 18th (away)
- Meet #4 June 25th (home)
- Meet #5 July 9th (away)
- CHAMPS July 16th (Gunderson Highschool)
- Banquet July 17th (home)

The Final Exhibition meet is Tomorrow! Are you ready?
Details for the meet, Sat 7/17
- Gate opens at 6:45 AM for families to set up their easy-ups
- Swimmers check in with coaches between
7:00 – 7:15 AM - Call or Text Coach Scott at 1(408) 613-5126 on Friday evening or Saturday morning if something unexpected stops you from attending the meet.
- Volunteer Assignments: Parents must check in with Volunteer Coordinator

- COACHES NEED TO KNOW: If you will not be attending Final Exhibition Virtual Meet 3 on Saturday July 17th, or need to leave early, please contact the coaches now via email: coaches@swimlpac.org
- Currently only Adelina Ramirez will not be available for July 17th.

- Penguins 10 and under require adult supervision to create their shirts

This Saturday at the 2nd Virtual Meet Ed Primeau, one of our team photographers will be snapping Penguin family photos with fun Penguin Photo Props! Build your community book page and even use the family photo. So what makes you a Penguin Family? What is your favorite fish meal? I can’t wait to read the book!

2022 LPAC Governing Board Needs You
This is what we do ~
- Your name will be placed on the ballot and the parents will elect the new board at this year’s End of Season Celebration.
- There are board meetings once a month in the off season and then possibly 2 board meetings a month during the season.
- The governing board plans the calendar, plans and runs events, hires coaches, and oversees anything that happens during the swim season.
- We work as a team, organizing and helping each other.

ABOUT LPAC
Los Paseos Aquatic Club (LPAC) is a non-profit organization that has served the Los Paseos community for over 50 years.
As a family-oriented summer swim team, LPAC provides children in the Los Paseos neighborhood the opportunity to participate in competitive swimming in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment. Team members range in age from 5 to 18 years old.
LPAC is a member of the Valley Cabana Swim League and swims against other cabana teams in San Jose and Los Gatos.
