Great swimming on Saturday. LPAC defeated Oaktree with a final score of LPAC 112.2 and Oaktree 103.4. Go Penguins! Meet results have been posted to the website and ribbons are in the family files.

Picture Day
All swimmers should wear the current team swim suit or a solid black suit for picture day. For more information, please visit the Picture Day page on our website.

- Association members individual photos start at 8:00 am
- All swimmers should be at the pool by 8:45 am to take team picture at 9:00 am
- Remaining individual photos can be taken after the team picture
- Location: Los Paseos Pool
- Cost: None, unless you want to purchase additional prints or buddy pictures

Penguin Pool Party on June 22nd
PENGUIN POOL PARTY
All LPAC swimmers are invited to come enjoy a fun pool party with their penguin pals. We’ll also have root beer floats and make tie-dye shirts to show our penguin pride!

- Date: June 22, 2022
- Time: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm; Must check in by 4:30 pm at the latest to do tie-dye!
- Cost:
- No charge for Association members
- Non-members: $1/child, $2/adult
- Swimmers will be provided with a Penguin shirt to tie-dye.
- Parents of swimmers 12 and under, please plan to stay during this event

Swim-a-Thon on June 29th
SWIM-A-THON
LPAC swimmers, here’s your chance to help raise funds for the team while challenging yourself and getting a great workout. Collect pledges and then swim as many laps as you can to support LPAC and win prizes too! Visit the Swim-a-Thon page on our website for more information!

- Time: Regular practice times
- Location: Los Paseos Pool
- Volunteers: Parent volunteers are needed to count laps at each practice. Sign up to volunteer

How it Works
- Download and print Swim-a-thon 2022 Pledge Sheet.
- Collect pledges from your family, friends, and neighbors. They can pledge a flat dollar amount or an amount per lap.
- Come to practice and swim, swim, swim…as many laps as you can, of any stroke!
- The lap counter will give you a piece of paper with the total number of laps you swam.
- Collect pledges and turn in proceeds to the coaches table by Friday, July 8th to be eligible for prizes.
Raft Trip: Waivers due on June 25th
RAFT TRIP: All people attending the Raft Trip MUST fill out a waiver form.
- Print and sign separate waiver forms for each person who will be rafting and turn in forms to the “ACTIVITIES” folder by June 25th.

Help your fellow penguin families get to know you! Fill out this survey and add your family picture to the 2022 LPAC Community Book. A volunteer parent photographer will also be available at the swim meets to take quick pictures for you.

Unlike in previous years, there will be no chance to add spots once our reservation has been finalized. If you do not sign up today, we will NOT be able to add you. Don’t miss out!

ABOUT LPAC
Los Paseos Aquatic Club (LPAC) is a non-profit organization that has served the Los Paseos community for over 50 years.
As a family-oriented summer swim team, LPAC provides children in the Los Paseos neighborhood the opportunity to participate in competitive swimming in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment. Team members range in age from 5 to 18 years old.
LPAC is a member of the Valley Cabana Swim League and swims against other cabana teams in San Jose and Los Gatos.
