Here are some quick reminders before Time Trials tomorrow.

TIME TRIALS: SATURDAY, MAY 27

• Swimmers and parents need to check in before 7:15 am. Please be on time!
• If your child is sick, please call or text Coach Scott’s cell phone: 408-613-5126.
• • Meet entries (will be posted soon) and volunteer assignments have been posted to the Time Trials page on the website.
• We have a few open positions (highlighted). If you are able to pick up a shift please email volunteers@lpac.org or text Cecie at 408.910.5611. And of course, if you cannot make it to the meet for any reason please let us know right away.

LPAC @ ALMADEN: SATURDAY, JUNE 3

• If your swimmer will have to miss all or part of the next meet on June 3, please send email NOW to coaches@swimlpac.org and volunteers@swimlpac.org.

TEAM SUITS: AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP

• Team jammers and racerback swimsuits are here! Amelia Hadfield will be available at practices today, 5/26 to pass them out. If you do not receive yours, Judy Seps will pass out the remaining suits at Time Trials.
• Thin strap swimsuits have not arrived yet, but will be coming soon!

MEMORIAL DAY SWIM CLINIC: MONDAY, MAY 29

• There are no regular team practices on Memorial Day (Monday, May 29), but swimmers are invited to attend an optional Swim Clinic that morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am.

TIME TIRALS MAKE-UP DAY: TUESDAY, MAY 30

• Swimmers who cannot attend Time Trials must come to Make-Up Day on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:00 pm.
• For swimmers attending Make-Ups, it is MANDATORY that their parents stay and volunteer as timers and recorders during Make-Up Day.
• Please arrive on time!
• Please note there will be no regular night practices on Tuesday.

Hope everyone had a great time at Penguin Madness! Now the madness really begins as we prepare for our first meet of the season (Time Trials) this Saturday.

TIME TRIALS: SATURDAY, MAY 27
Time Trials will be this Saturday, May 27.

• Swimmers and parents should check in between 7:00 and 7:15 am.
• Coach Scott will have a brief meeting for new swimmers and their parents after warm-ups.
• The meet should be done around 1:00 pm.
• If you are new to the team, check out the Swim Meet Survival Tips article on the website for some helpful advice about what to bring, what to wear, etc.
• If your child will not be able to attend Time Trials, you need to let the coaches and volunteer coordinators know ASAP if you have not done so already. Please send an email to coaches@swimlpac.org and volunteers@swimlpac.org.
• Any swimmers who do not attend Time Trials must come to the make-up day on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:00 pm.

MEMORIAL DAY SWIM CLINIC: MONDAY, MAY 29

There are no regular team practices on Memorial Day (Monday, May 29), but swimmers are invited to attend an optional Swim Clinic that morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am. The coaches will be working with small groups of kids on diving from the blocks, backstroke starts, pulldowns, and all types of turns. Swimmers who want to work on any of these skills are welcome to attend. Swimmers do not need to stay the whole time; they are welcome to drop in at any time and leave whenever they’d like.

PENGUIN MADNESS:
Penguin Madness is on Friday, May 19 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Pizza will be available starting at 5:30 pm.

Penguin Madness Teams are all set! Swimmers are encouraged to wear the color of their designated penguin team. We can’t wait to see everyone there! If you did not register your penguins by Wednesday night your penguins can still participate in the Madness! We will place them on a team when they arrive.

• This is a family event. Parents and siblings are invited to come and cheer on their favorite penguins.
• Bring your own folding chairs or blankets to sit on.
• The coaches will referee the events.

TIME TRIALS:
Time Trials will be on Saturday, May 27, which is on Memorial Day weekend. If your child will have to miss all or part of the meet, please send email to coaches@swimlpac.org and also to volunteers@swimlpac.org. If you do miss Time Trials, you must attend make-ups on Tuesday, May 30.
