The banquet will be July 21st, at 4:30 PM at the Los Paseos Pool (grassy area), catered by Taco Time.

Penguins win ~ 119.1 to 98.8

• LPAC Penguins proved once again they can out-swim a dolphin. Great end to a day of racing!

Record Breaker!

• Congrats to Daniela Fasan for breaking her old record of 56.50 in the Girls 15-18 100 Yard Freestyle event. The new record is a speedy 56.08!

This weeks Swim Meet is away Saturday (6/29) against the Silver Creek Sharks. If you or you child will miss all or part of the meet, email coaches@swimlpac.org and volunteers@swimlpac.org by today at the latest. Swim-a-Thon is Tomorrow, Tuesday June 25th!

• We need more parent volunteers at every practice to be a lap counter, please check with Adrienne Burke at (408)578-8097 before practice to help out.
• LPAC swimmers download pledge-sheet , collect pledges and then swim as many laps as you can to support your team. Win prizes too! More details here.

12-14 Age Group Community Service Project, Fri June 28th

• Time 8:45 ~ 12 Noon followed by lunch out with the group. (bring money for lunch)
• Location: Meet at LPAC pool at 8:45 to set up carpools to location. WE NEED PARENT DRIVERS FOR CARPOOLS.

Practice Update week of July 1st:

• We will have normal morning and evening practices M-W.
• Thursday, July 4th is a full day off
• Friday, July 5th, optional dive clinic from 9:00 AM ~ 10:00 AM

End Of Season Reminders:

Judy Seps will be collecting funding for the Coaches Gifts at the next two swim meets on June 29th and July 13th. This year we have 6 coaches and any families who would like to contribute will sign their Thank You cards; feel free to give as much or as little money as you would like. We then pull all the funds together and purchase them a gift card of their choosing. We present the gift cards and Thank You cards to each coach at the LPAC banquet.

• Swimmer Check-in 7:15 AM ~ meet at picnic tables closest to parking lot in BBQ area
• Gates open 6:30 AM for setup. The following restrictions apply:
  • EZ-Ups ok, no tarps or tents with floors allowed
  • No use of kiddie pool
  • Bocce ball area is closed and off limits
  • No playing / loitering in the restrooms
  • Please pick-up your trash after the meet
  • No Pets allowed at the Belwood facility

   • If you are designing your own Ad and submitting a completed design you can still use Monday, July 1st as the deadline.

2. We are still looking for someone on the team who will be able to shadow this year to take over for Kris next year, as she is aging out. Contact Kris with any questions 408-225-8797
3. Champs Volunteering: Your family is required to sign up for at least one volunteer shift at Champs, the sign up will be available Monday morning 6/24, look for your email from the Volunteer Coordinator  Sign Up Here .
4. Champs Meals: We will have the order forms available soon, please check the wbsite for the order forms. Meal order forms and money are due July 6.

Overnighter Saturday, June 22-23!

• Drop-off at LPAC pool, Sat 6:00 PM no earlier please; Pick-up Sunday 8:00 AM
• Parents must sign in swimmers and provide an emergency poe number where they can be reached at any time.
• We will be doing some exciting (optional) Fun Team Relay Races starting at 6:15 and ending about 7:15. Join us and watch the fun unfold. All participating swimmers should come ready to be in the pool by 6:15
• High Schoolers may only use the old lawn chairs stacked behind the wall behind the pool for their sleeping arrangements. Do Not use any of the new chairs along the pool side
