Final week News 7/15

Congratulations! The LPAC Penguins are the 2019 Dual Meet Champions!

This past Saturday, we beat the Oaktree Sharks and ended our Dual Meet Season with a perfect 5 Wins-0 Loss record. We have not experienced such a success since 1999, that is 20 years ago!

Next Saturday, let’s see if we can become League Champions to go along with our Dual Meet Championship. Our preparation includes each swimmer relaxing this week after attending practice. don’t forget to eat well, including those pasta like dinners beginning early in the week. And finally, try and get some good sleep throughout the week, before Champs even starts.

SPIRIT WEEK IS HERE!

This really is the final week of the season, and to help get us in the mood to swim like crazy fast penguins at Champs, we need to have some penguin fun first. Join us and celebrate our theme days by dressing up:

Monday ~ Crazy Hair Day
Tuesday ~ Sports Day
Wednesday ~ Hat Day
Thursday ~ Robe/Pajama Day
Friday ~ Black & White Day

SPIRIT NIGHT IS HERE! Thursday, July 18, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Thursday night is ‘Spirit Night.” The swimmers gather, eat pizza, decorate posters and other fun activities for champs. They also elect the swimmer reps for next year. Parents have a meeting learn the details for champs, and elect next year’s LPAC Board members. And then we all fill the room, to celebrate the Swim-a-thon awards, a slide show/video review of the past season and of course we cheer!  All for the purpose of getting ready for Champs!
