LPAC: Weekly Update 4/20/26
| Dear Penguins and Parents:It’s hard to believe that practices start next week! We can’t wait to see you all at the pool. Please join us for some munchies and drinks on the pool deck during the first Friday, May 1st, practice of the 2026 season! PRACTICES: Practices start April 27th with age group times as follows: 7 & under: 5:30-6:15 pm 8-10: 6:15-7:00 pm 11-14: 7:00-8:00 pm High school: 8:00-9:00 pm Make sure that your swimmer shows up at the right time. Please arrive on time and ready to swim! TEAM SUITS: We will be using the same suit as last year. If your swimmer(s) grew over the year we will be having a few swimsuit sizing event during try outs, April 23rd from 5:30-6:30 & during the first week of practice, April 27th and May 1st.from 5:00-8pm. Come to practice early and try on suits before your swimmer jumps in the pool. Once you know what size your swimmer needs, the order link will be in the next few LPAC newsletters. Orders need to be placed between April 27 and May 1, 2025 to receive shipment by our first meet. Swimsuit Try-Ons:Dates: 4/23/26 from 5:30-6:30 4/27/26, and 5/1/26 from 5:30- 8:00pm Location: Los Paseos Pool ORDERING INFORMATION: The order link will go live on April 27th on the Suits and Merchandise page. Order Link Payment: You will pay Agonswim.com directly when orderingShipping: Orders will be shipped directly to the team and distributed at practices the week of 5/25 Order Deadline: 5/1/26 Please check out the Suits & Merchandise page for up-to-date information. SPLASH & DASH: This year’s Splash & Dash will be on July 1st. We will be raising money for equipment updates, such as a new starter battery, a new Digital or Analog Pace Clock for practices, Time drops(a new league wide timer system) and kitchen needs a new or slightly loved deep freezer with a lid that actually works.. Please help us to raise money for these causes this year. More information to come. SPONSORSHIPS: Do you know of a company in or around the neighborhood that may want to be a part of the greatest swim team around? We are looking for companies to Sponsor LPAC. Even with the raise in registration this year, our swim team is the best and least expensive team in our cabana league. (We may be a little biased.) Our ability to keep our swimmers until they graduate only proves our point. Next time you are at a swim meet, count the number of older swimmers the opposing team has and compare it to LPAC. In order to keep our registration costs low and continue all our fun penguin traditions, we need to find companies to Sponsor us. We have T-shirts, Parkas, sweats and lots of other goodies to show your Penguin spirit and keep your swimmers and family fashionably warm!
