Time Trials are Tomorrow, Saturday June 1st, located at LPAC Pool
- Gate open at 6:45 AM for families to set up their easy-ups etc,..
- Swimmers must check in with coaches by 7:15 AM
- Parents must check in with Volunteer Coordinator

What is Happening Next:
- TIME TRIAL MAKE-UP DAY, MONDAY JUNE 3RD AT 6:00 PM
- Parents are expected to stay and volunteer as timers and recorders during the Make-Up day
(No Regular Practice)
- TEAM PICTURE DAY TUESDAY JUNE 4TH. PRACTICE TO FOLLOW
- Paperwork can be found in your family folder at the end of Time Trials. Be sure to leave in your box or bring it back on Tuesday for picture day as it will be needed. Should you decide to take extra photos with buddy or friend, be sure to bring cash or check to cover the cost.
- Wear Team Suit or solid black suit
- Association members photos begin at 4:00 PM
- All swimmers should arrive at pool by 5:15 PM to take team picture
- RAFTING TRIP ~ MOTEL-6 RESERVATIONS ARE DUE
(take advantage of block reservations, rooms released June 14)

Wow! Here we go right into week TWO! We have some fun things around the corner! Here are a few updates, reminders, and a survey that we need a quick response to.

Tomorrow, Monday, April 29th practice begins! Here are a few reminders as we begin our first week of the swim team season:
- Practices start tomorrow (Monday, April 29), with age group times as follows:
- 8 & under: 5:30-6:15 pm
- 9-11: 6:15-7:00 pm
- 12-14: 7:00-8:00 pm
- High school: 8:00-9:00 pm
- Suits and merchandise will be sold this Thursday and Friday ( May 2 and May 3). Please plan to come before your regular practice time to try on suits and check out the merchandise order form. (It’s much easier to do that before the kids get wet.) And don’t forget your checkbook! All swimmers are required to have a team suit or a plain black suit for meets and Picture Day. - If you have a team suit or LPAC gear from last year that your swimmer has outgrown, please consider donating. Have your swimmer bring to practice this week. Jennie Anderson will collect from the coaches and have available for swimmers needing a larger or smaller suit.
- If you are interested in being a Stroke and Turn Judge this year, plan to attend the Stroke & Turn Judging Clinic on Saturday, May 11 at the Montevideo Clubhouse.
- Penguin Madness is on Friday, May 17 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Please follow the link and send an email if you plan on attending. https://swimlpac.org/events/penguin-madness/
- You should have received an email on March 31 from volunteers@swimlpac.org asking if you would like to return to the same position this season. If you did not receive this email please send your contact information to the email volunteers@swimlpac.org. Remember that in addition to your regular shift each family is asked to sign up for at least one clean-up shift after a home meet.

The new family orientation will be held Wednesday, April 17, at 7 pm at the Los Paseos Clubhouse.
Judy Seps will be holding swimsuit try-on for returning families beginning at 7 pm at the meeting. Returning families are not required to attend the April 17th meeting since most volunteer signups are now handled online. But you are certainly welcome to come by and catch up with swim team friends!
Practices start on Monday, April 29, with age group times as follows:
- New swimmers only: 5:00-5:30 pm
- 8 & under: 5:30-6:15 pm
- 9-11: 6:15-7:00 pm
- 12-14: 7:00-8:00 pm
- High school: 8:00-9:00 pm
Any siblings who are trying out for the team this year should plan to come to the new swimmer practices every day starting Tuesday, April 23rd as outlined in their invitation to tryout sent by email earlier.
Suits and merchandise will be sold Thursday, May 2nd and Friday, May 3rd. Please plan to come before your regular practice time to try on suits and order merchandise. (It’s much easier to do that before the kids get wet.) And don’t forget your checkbook!

By-law Updates and Vote
All returning LPAC parents are encouraged to attend the March 26, 2019 LPAC Board meeting to vote on LPAC Bylaw Updates. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM in the Los Paseos Clubhouse. The review and vote of the LPAC Bylaw updates will be the first order of business, after which, you can return home for the rest of the evening. Our current by-laws are available on the LPAC website under the TEAM INFO header.

All returning LPAC parents are encouraged to attend the 2019 LPAC Board meeting on Tuesday, March 26, at 7pm in the clubhouse. Please plan on attending for the first part of the meeting when the board and parents will vote on LPAC bylaw updates.
