Welcome Back Penguins!
Our LPAC season is just around the corner, with practices beginning on May 2nd. We are happy to welcome everyone back to the pool for our first full season since the pandemic began. We can’t wait to see you all at practice!
Practices Begin May 2nd!
Practice times by age group:
- 8 & under: 5:30–6:15 pm
- 9-11: 6:15–7:00 pm
- 12-14: 7:00–8:00 pm
- High School: 8:00–9:00 pm

Below is the link for your 2022 LPAC Spirit Wear!! We have T-shirts, Parkas, sweats and lots of other goodies to show your LPAC pride and keep your swimmers fashionably warm!
Orders and payment are due by May 8th @ 7:30pm.

NEW SWIMMER FAMILIES: We recommend placing an order while you await the tryout results and we can cancel it if needed.

Drop off checks/payment at 7005 Via Cordura (Lynnae Brady’s residence) on May 7th or May 8th, 5:30-7:30pm.

Official Team Breakfast and Yoga
Our first team and family event will be on Saturday, May 7th at 9:00 am. Please come and practice some fun yoga poses with your coaches and then munch on brunch food and drinks!

Welcome Back Penguin Families!
The LPAC swim season is just around the corner! We are excited to have a full season this year. Here are some important dates to remember!
New Family Meeting
- Next Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00 PM: This is a mandatory meeting for all new families, however all LPAC families are welcome! Come meet the coaches and the governing board. We will also be able to answer your questions during this time. Learn all about the expectations of being on the swim team. The meeting should last only an hour.
- Location: Los Paseos Clubhouse, 7047 Vía Ramada, San Jose, CA 95139
New Swimmer Tryouts
- Monday, April 25th: New swimmer tryouts begin!
- Tryouts will be held Monday through Friday. Please have your swimmer attend all tryout days!
- We have divided the tryout times into two groups by age:
- 4 – 6 years old: 5:00 – 5:30 pm
- 7 & up: 5:30 – 6:00 pm
Regular Practice Times
- Monday, May 2nd: Regular practice times for LPAC Penguins begin.
- Practice times by age group:

Team Suits!
Swimmers are welcome to be fitted for team suits on Tuesday, April 19th at 5:00 pm at the Los Paseos Clubhouse. There will be a sizing kit available to help you find the best fit for your swimmer(s). Payment may be made with cash, check, or credit card that day.
If you know your swimmer(s)’ suit sizes, you can also email Shawna at shawna@illusionsactivewear.com, if you cannot make it to the clubhouse next Tuesday.

- Something to remember: Just like last year, we will not be holding night practice sessions for those who can not join us for morning practice once the school year ends on June 3rd.
- Something New! We are now ready to accept payment via Zelle, just look us up under the email treasurer@swimlpac.org using your Zelle App. Be sure to include the family name and swimmers in the memo section.
- Know a New Family who wants to join our team? Please have them send an email to Info@swimlpac.org with a subject line of “New Family 2022” to inquire about the special open Registration held on March 26th, 8:00 – 9:30 AM using signup genius. I will be happy to send them the process and appropriate information. Yes we have spots open too.
