Penguins win ~ 119.1 to 98.8

  • LPAC Penguins proved once again they can out-swim a dolphin. Great end to a day of racing!

Record Breaker!

  • Congrats to Daniela Fasan for breaking her old record of 56.50 in the Girls 15-18 100 Yard Freestyle event. The new record is a speedy 56.08!

This weeks Swim Meet is away Saturday (6/29) against the Silver Creek Sharks. If you or you child will miss all or part of the meet, email coaches@swimlpac.org and volunteers@swimlpac.org by today at the latest. Current list of expected absent swimmers include: Patrick & Sophie Nguyen, Tessa Turner, Ethan & Alan Calderon, Kayla Wensmann, Cressida Hansen, Kaitlyn Schwab, NIcholas Fumagalli, Vasiti Vunawai, Viola, Olivia & Aurora Sunderman.

Swim-a-Thon is Tomorrow, Tuesday June 25th!

  • We need more parent volunteers at every practice to be a lap counter, please check with Adrienne Burke at (408)578-8097 before practice to help out.
  • LPAC swimmers download pledge-sheet , collect pledges and then swim as many laps as you can to support your team. Win prizes too! More details here.

12-14 Age Group Community Service Project, Fri June 28th

  • Our City Forest Community Service Project details here
  • Time 8:45 ~ 12 Noon followed by lunch out with the group. (bring money for lunch)
  • Location: Meet at LPAC pool at 8:45 to set up carpools to location. WE NEED PARENT DRIVERS FOR CARPOOLS.

CHAMPS DEADLINES are here!

  1. PRE-ORDER CHAMPS FOOD NOW: Download each order sheet, complete and return to CHAMPS MEAL FOLDER with check written out to LPAC to cover total cost of all orders. Due by end of practice Friday July 5th @ 10:AM.
  2. Champs Ads timeline: Want to include well wishes and other fun notes to your swimmer in the Official Champs Program, here is what you need to do:
    • Need help with design ~ turn in your information to Kris Fuss by the end of Practice tonight, at 9:00 PM, Monday June 24th.
    • Designing your own Ad ~ submit completed design on July 1st, end of practice.
    • All payments are due Monday, July 1st, placed in the ‘ACTIVITIES’ folder.

  3. CHAMPS VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS:  Sign Up Here! Each family is required to sign up for at least one volunteer shift at Champs.

Practice Update week of July 1st:

  • We will have normal morning and evening practices M-W.
  • Thursday, July 4th is a full day off
  • Friday, July 5th, optional dive clinic from 9:00 AM ~ 10:00 AM

End Of Season Reminders:

Judy Seps will be collecting funding for the Coaches Gifts at the next two swim meets on June 29th and July 13th. This year we have 6 coaches and any families who would like to contribute will sign their Thank You cards; feel free to give as much or as little money as you would like. We then pull all the funds together and purchase them a gift card of their choosing. We present the gift cards and Thank You cards to each coach at the LPAC banquet.
