SPLASH & DASH PLEDGES DUE BY JULY 5TH

In 2024, we had 102 out of 147 Swimmers participate amongst all of the practice age groups. These 102 swimmers swan a total of 7,740 laps. Now that is what we call Penguin Power! We are Penguin Strong! The 2024 Splash & Dash is raising money to cover three things this year:

  • The new black and white backstroke flags that we use during meets.
  • The beautiful new brick pathway that was imagined, organized, laid out and made possible by LPAC’s very own Dylan D., who is working on attaining the rank of Eagle from Troop 286. This was his Eagle project and LPAC agreed to reimburse him for the materials he used. We are so proud of him for making this a reality.
  • This summer we will be patching the LPAC shed floor, which is key to keeping our LPAC equipment in good shape for years to come. So that critters (insects and vermin) don’t make our shed their home and so that we do not have to replace equipment so often..

Please help us to accomplish these three important expenditures that were not budgeted for by our board. Don’t worry you can still collect pledges even after the Splash & Dash is over by printing out a Splash & Dash 2024 Pledge sheet. All donations are tax deductible. Turn in pledge sheets and money to the Splash & Dash folder in the back of the swimmer folders by July 5th in order to be eligible to win Penguin Prizes.

Thank you for your generosity and support that you have shown by participating in this years Splash & Dash!

LPAC: Issues with Ribbons and Swimsuits

Dear Penguins and Parents:

ISSUES WITH RIBBONS:

There were some issues with ribbons this week. If your swimmer did not receive the correct ribbons or is missing ribbons from the Belwood meet, please send an email to info@swimlpac.org and state the event of incorrect/missing ribbons and we will make sure your swimmer receives the correct ribbons. You do not need to return duplicate or incorrect ribbons.

SWIMSUIT ISSUES:

If you had any sort of issue with your swimsuit, please do the following:

  1. Send an email to Sean Ryan sean@makingwavesusa.com and CC: Amelia Hadfield ahadfield.2000@gmail.com.
  2. In subject line write: LPAC Order <insert your order number here>
  3. Provide a screenshot of your order
  4. Explain what you received that was incorrect (ie ordered a 32 fly with embroidery and received a 32 pro with screen print and did not receive an endurance suit)
  5. How would you like this resolved? (Ie. Refund for order, refund for difference in screen print vs embroidery, exchange for correct order, etc.)

We apologize for this inconvenience. Please note that if you do an exchange, it’s possible that you may not get your new suit for several weeks.
