We hope that you had a great three day weekend! We hope that everyone had a fun and relaxing, or wet and wild, weekend without an LPAC meet. The raft trip was hot but everyone had a blast for those of our LPAC family that went.
With only two weeks before the end of the season there are going to be a lot of things going on and there will be a lot of important information in these emails. Please read through to find all the Penguin happenings.
Breakdown for Due Dates Coming up
Today, Monday July 7
- Mr. Pickles Form and Payment Due. If we don’t have both your form and payment, we will not be able to turn your form into VCSL.
Tomorrow, Tuesday July 8
- Champs Ad and payment due
- Splash & Dash Pledges due, in order to be able to earn prizes you need to turn in pledges.
- Beach Trip RSVP due
Next Monday July 14
- Spaghetti Dinner Sign up
- Register for the Banquet
LPAC @ BELWOOD: SATURDAY, JULY 12
- If your child will have to miss all or part of the meet against Belwood, please send an email to coaches@swimlpac.org and volunteers@swimlpac.org TODAY! It is important to let our Coaches and Volunteer Coordinators know ASAP if your swimmer will be missing any part of a meet.
- The swimmers that we already know will be missing are: Cailyn F., Anahita C., Natalie C., Kensie G., Caleb G., Cailyn G., Nick F., Max P., Zack P., Rey P., Tyson P., Tyler P., Olivia S., and Serena P.
- If your swimmers name is not listed above and you will be missing all or part of the Belwood meet, we need to know ASAP.
END OF SEASON GIFTS FOR COACHES
The last time you will be able to contribute to the Coaches Gifts is on July 12th. Keep an eye out for Judy Seps, the LPAC photographer. She will be collecting contributions for coaches gifts at the Belwood meet. As a reminder we do have 7 coaches this year. You may contribute with cash, check(made out to Judy Seps) or Venmo @judyseps (last four digits of her phone number are 3532). All funds will be pooled together to purchase gift cards. We will present the gift cards and Thank You cards to each coach at the LPAC banquet.
PRE-ORDER LUNCH FOR CHAMPS
Order from Mr. Pickles Form by next Monday July 7 to help support the Valley Cabana Swim League and help us keep the price of Champs down. Mr. Pickles will not be selling food at Champs, they will only have pre-ordered food. So order before the end of the day Monday. Pay our LPAC treasurer by either check (made out to LPAC and put in the treasurer folder in the back of the family folders) or pay through Zelle using the email treasurer@swimlpac.org. We will make sure that you have paid before giving order to VCSL.
PURCHASE CHAMPS AD FOR PROGRAM
Send picture and messages by email to: info@swimlpac.org. & either zelle your payment: treasurer@swimlpac.org (make a note CHAMPS AD) or make a check out to LPAC write Champs Ad in notes section of check and place in the Treasurer file folder before July 8th. SPLASH & DASH PLEDGES DUE TUESDAY JULY 8TH
Your swimmers swam so hard during the Splash & Dash. Congratulate all of your swimmers. Now is the time to collect pledges. Ask your family and friends to sponsor your amazing swim. Sponsors can either give your swimmers a flat donation or they can sponsor your swimmer per lap. Print out Splash & Dash Pledge Sheets. All donations are tax deductible. Turn in pledge sheets and money by July 8th to the Splash & Dash folder in the back of the Family File Folders. Only swimmers that turn in donations will be able to win prizes at Spirit Night, July 17.

BEACH TRIP: SATURDAY, JULY 12 RSVP BY JULY 8TH
All swimmers that have finished their 9th grade year are invited to attend the traditional LPAC Beach-and-bonfire trip to Twin Lakes State Beach in Santa Cruz. Please register your teenager by July 8th for the 2025 Beach Trip Check out the Beach Trip page on the website for more information.
CAR DECORATING: JULY 18
Come decorate your car for Champs with us. We will be decorating between 5 and 6 pm on Friday July 18. Bring your cars to the back of the church parking lot closest to Los Paseos. We will provide some washable car markers. If you would like to bring your own please do so. Show your Penguin Spirit!
SPAGHETTI DINNER: JULY 18 SIGN UP NOW
The night before Champs, all High School aged swimmers, who have completed their Freshman year of High School or older, are invited to “carbo-load” with their teammates at the LPAC Spaghetti Dinner. Families of High School age Penguins are asked to Sign up to provide part of the dinner & help make the Spaghetti dinner a success.
LPAC BANQUET: SUNDAY, JULY 20The end of Season Banquet is a final time to come together to congratulate and recognize all of our swimmers, to thank our sponsors and send off our age outs.

Picture Day Photos are ready to look at and purchase through the direct link: LPAC Gallery. Access Code: LPAC25. You can look through the pictures and pick the ones you want to purchase. Remember with your registration cost, LPAC pays for a team picture, individual photo, and a 3-inch photo button.

2025 LPAC COMMUNITY BOOK
Help your fellow penguin families get to know you and your swimmer(s)! Add your family picture to the 2025 LPAC Community Book, add your swimmer’s names and ages along with some fun family facts to a slide. This is a fun way to get to know all of the families on the team. A volunteer parent photographer will also be available at the swim meets to take quick pictures for you.
