| Dear Penguin Family, Can you believe that we are almost down to the end of the season? It has gone by so fast. We have enjoyed getting to know all of our Penguin families. With only 9 days before the end of the season there are going to be a lot of things going on and there will be a lot of important information in these emails. Please read through to find all the Penguin happenings. Breakdown for Due Dates Coming up Monday July 14 Spaghetti Dinner Sign up Register for the Banquet LPAC @ BELWOOD: SATURDAY, JULY 12 Date: Saturday, July 12, 2025 Location: Belwood Pool and Cabana Club 100 Belwood Gateway, Los Gatos, California 95032 Pool Gates will open at 6:30 am Time: LPAC swimmers and volunteers need to check in by 7:15 am The meet starts at 8:15 am .If your child is sick, please text both the Coaches and Volunteer Coordinators as soon as possible.Coach Julia @ 408-334-0657 , and Volunteer Coordinators: Li @ 408-930-8033 or Jeannie @ 408-981-3370. EZ-Ups ok, no tarps or tents with floors allowed Do not park in the 3 way intersection of Belwood Gateway and Belblossom Way. Belwood Baitshop snack bar will be open serving breakfast burritos, donuts, onigiri, burgers, hot dogs and much more! END OF SEASON GIFTS FOR COACHES The last time you will be able to contribute to the Coaches Gifts is on July 12th. Keep an eye out for Judy Seps, the LPAC photographer. She will be collecting contributions for coaches gifts at the Belwood meet. As a reminder we do have 7 coaches this year. You may contribute with cash, check(made out to Judy Seps) or Venmo @judyseps (last four digits of her phone number are 3532). All funds will be pooled together to purchase gift cards. We will present the gift cards and Thank You cards to each coach at the LPAC banquet. LPAC PHOTOS ARE HERE: Check your family file folder today to find your swimmers photos and button that everyone gets with registration. Remember with your registration cost, LPAC pays for a team picture, individual photo, and a 3-inch photo button.If you’d like to purchase extra individual or buddy pictures, Picture Day Photos are ready to look at and purchase through the direct link: LPAC Gallery. BEACH TRIP: SATURDAY, JULY 12 All swimmers that have finished their 9th grade year are invited to attend the traditional LPAC Beach-and-bonfire trip to Twin Lakes State Beach in Santa Cruz. HS age Penguins and volunteers need to meet at the Los Paseos Clubhouse at 4:30 pm. Have fun with all of your fellow High School age Penguins. SPIRIT WEEK JULY 14-18 Monday: Madhatter Monday (wear a crazy hat/crazy hair) Tuesday: Tatoosday Wednesday: Wild West Wednesday- Wear your best western outfit Thursday: Thports – Represent your favorite Sports team Friday: Penguin Power Friday – Penguin themed outfits or black & white SPIRIT NIGHT: THURSDAY JULY 17 Date: July 17, 2025 Time: 6:30 – 9:00 pm Location: LPAC ClubhouseNo alcohol is permitted on the premises. Pizza and drinks will be served for the kids, starting at 6:30pm. **IMPORTANT** Parents will be receiving final details on Champs and voting on new LPAC Governing Board Members. The kids will also be voting for new swimmer reps and making posters for Champs. Splash & Dash prizes and awards will be given out. Slideshow: Spirit Night will conclude with a slideshow, celebrating the season and energizing the team to do their best at Champs! CAR DECORATING: JULY 18 Come decorate your car for Champs with us. We will be decorating between 5 and 6 pm on Friday July 18. Bring your cars to the back of the church parking lot closest to Los Paseos. We will provide some washable car markers. If you would like to bring your own please do so. Show your Penguin Spirit! SPAGHETTI DINNER: JULY 18 SIGN UP NOW The night before Champs, all High School aged swimmers, who have completed their Freshman year of High School or older, are invited to “carbo-load” with their teammates at the LPAC Spaghetti Dinner. Families of High School age Penguins are asked to Sign up to provide part of the dinner & help make the Spaghetti dinner a success. LPAC BANQUET: SUNDAY, JULY 20 The end of Season Banquet is a final time to come together to congratulate and recognize all of our swimmers, to thank our sponsors and send off our age outs. Add your family picture to the 2025 LPAC Community Book, add your swimmer’s names and ages along with some fun family facts to a slide. This is a fun way to get to know all of the families on the team. A volunteer parent photographer will also be available at the swim meets to take quick pictures for you.
