- Champs Ads timeline has moved up to this week! Here is what you need to do to send well wishes and other fun notes to your swimmer in the official Champs Program:
- If you need help designing your Champs Ad, turn in your information to Kris Fuss by Monday June 24(THIS MONDAY) so we have the proper amount of time to help you get what you want.
- If you are designing your own Ad and submitting a completed design you can still use Monday, July 1st as the deadline.
- All payments are due Monday, July 1st, placed in the ‘ACTIVITIES’

- We will be doing some exciting (optional) Fun Team Relay Races starting at 6:15 and ending about 7:15. Join us and watch the fun unfold. All participating swimmers should come ready to be in the pool by 6:15
- High Schoolers may only use the old lawn chairs stacked behind the wall behind the pool for their sleeping arrangements. Do Not use any of the new chairs along the pool side

LPAC Wins over Montevideo Piranhas ~ 127.9 to 107.5
We were able to swim faster than the Piranhas which lead to an LPAC win this past Saturday.
Records are broken Congratulations to:
- Boys 11-12, 200 Medley Relay set a new record of 2:16.21, 16 seconds faster than the previous value. Taylor DeSantis, Tomas Manole, Luke Anderson and Greyson Fang who comprise this speedy team.
- Boys 13-14 200 Freestyle Relay shaved off close to 4 seconds with a new record of 1:44.38. Anthony Anderson, Mathew Primeau, David Jerez and CJ Taylor led the charge in this successful endeavor.

Fun Age Group Event, Fri June 21 & 28th
This year, our penguin family is getting out into the community with some fun age-group service projects! We’ll be organizing one activity for each practice group, with events spread throughout the remainder of the season. See our fun age group

Our high schoolers and 12-14s will be volunteering with
Our City Forest, an awesome local organization that plants trees in public spaces around San Jose. We’ll be working at Martial Cottle Park helping to take care of a recently planted arboretum.
- Wear closed-toed shoes
- Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
- Bring a reusable water bottle and sunscreen
- All swimmers need a signed parent/guardian consent form.
The high schoolers will be working this Friday, June 21.

The 12-14s will be volunteering next Friday, June 28.

Overnighter Saturday, June 22-23!
Are you ready for a night of fun and games? Saturday night, June 22, LPAC swimmers will camp out in tents on the grass next to the Los Paseos pool and stay up late swimming, dancing, playing dodge ball, and just having fun with their friends. LPAC Board members and their spouses stay the night and take shifts to be sure children are supervised at all times. LPAC Wins over Almaden Gators ~ 131.8 to 114.0
It was a great effort as the LPAC team members showed improved times 77% of the time. All of these improvement points actually add to our overall score and helped us solidify the win. We want to keep that going, so be sure to take the time and come to morning practice. We know it can be a challenge sometimes for the teenagers to rise and shine for their 6:45 AM practice, but keep in mind, practice will makes us all stronger and yes even faster.

Dear Penguin Family,
Thanks to everyone for pitching in at Time Trials on Saturday. This week we have only a few days to get ready for Almaden on Saturday!
TIME TRIALS MAKE-UP DAY: MONDAY, JUNE 3rd
Swimmers who did not attend Time Trials on Saturday or missed any of their events MUST come to Make-Up Day on Monday, June 3 at 6:00 pm. Parents are expected to stay and volunteer as timers and recorders. Please arrive on time! Please note there will be no regular night practices on Monday. If you swam all your events at Time Trials, you get the night off!
PICTURE DAY: TUESDAY, JUNE 4th
- Individual photos for Association members will start at 4:00 pm.
- ALL swimmers should be at the pool by 5:15 pm for the team photo.
- Any remaining individual photos can be taken after the team photo.
- All swimmers should wear either an LPAC team suit or a plain black swim suit.
- We will still have practices as usual for all age groups:
- 10 & under: 6:00 – 7:00 pm
- 11-13: 7:00 – 8:00 pm
- 14-18: 8:00 – 9:00 pm
- Please check your family file for the photo order envelope and bring that to the photographer.
- Your team dues include one individual photo, one team photo, and a photo button. If you’d like to order additional copies and/or buddy photos, please bring your checkbook to make the additional payment.
